The Holiday Inn Express Lawrence, An Ihg Hotel, offered a welcoming décor with modern touches that made my stay enjoyable. The facility was clean, and I appreciated the accessible layout which made navigating easy for seniors like myself.

The staff showed incredible compassion when my room was unexpectedly canceled. they quickly cleaned another room for me. In addition, the location was convenient with nearby stores and spacious, comfortable accommodations. Unfortunately, the dark parking lot and surrounding area felt unsafe, which was disconcerting, especially at night. Despite this, the breakfast options were satisfactory.

My kids wished there were more activities or games available for younger guests in the hotel. It would be great to have more options to keep them entertained during our downtime.

I loved the comfy king suite. it had a huge layout and a fridge. The decor was up to date, and the bed was super comfy after a long day of travel! Cleanliness was on point, and I appreciated the recycling option in the lobby.

Perfect for solo travelers with a heart

The staff was very nice especially the manager who helped me when I was lost and just needed a bit of reassurance like a warm welcome that felt more than just check in and also I had a beautiful room with a king-sized bed and a sitting area so spacious it felt like a little apartment.

Sure it wasn't exactly wallet-friendly but for the quality it felt fine by me.

I stayed for 2 nights and the breakfast staff were super friendly, always asking if we needed anything. The room was nice but felt a bit dated. Plus, the snack bar had some good options. The check-in was kinda awkward, like the staff forgot to acknowledge us, which was a bummer.
